Great Caeser’s Ghost! Costly Chair!

One of the fashion rages now, is a chair that seems to be simplistically elegant. It’s the Ghost Chair. It has been reincarnated by Philippe Starck. It’s not like your typical plastic white lawn chair you stack in the backyard. But this chair can be used indoors and outdoors. It does stack six high. Now it looks great, and I’ve done enough furniture shopping in my life to guess how much this chair would cost. But I don’t know my kitschy furniture well enough. This baby is several hundred dollars! The Louis Ghost Chair is manufactured by Kartell in Italy. It’s too rich for my blood, but it is certainly wonderful to admire. Maybe instead of Lou for Louis XV, the Lou should be Lou for the Louvre. Because this thing seems to be the Mona Lisa of chairs, sotospeak.
